Our friends in South Philly were anxious for something to do on a warm summer day, and remembering the very productive mulberry tree we had come upon in late June last year, I suggested a return trip to Tinicum to see if there would be something to harvest. We made a couple of wrong turns trying to find the tree, and when it was finally sighted, everyone was excited. Unfortunately we were late to the party as there were only a few berries remaining on the tree, and, as the picture shows, it was difficult to reach them. We all enjoyed the walk, however, and promised to visit again next year, but a little earlier. See
