Plays at Hedgerow always delight, but George Bernard Shaw's Arms and the Man does especially so. Earlier in the year Paul and I had noted with interest this anti-war comedy was on the schedule, but we forgot to mark it on our calendar.

A Sherlock Holmes story as opera? Why not! Orchestra 2001 performed A Scandal in Bohemia by Thomas Whitman and Nathalie Anderson to a full and appreciative house at Lang Concert Hall tonight. Paul and I attended with a friend and we found the entire performance very enjoyable from start to finish.

The InterAct Theatre Company "is a theatre for today’s world, producing new and contemporary plays that explore the social, political, and cultural issues of our time." All performances are on the mainstage at the Adrienne, 2030 Sansom Street, Philadelphia.

Previews are only $15 per show or $35 for three. Other performances are full price, with discounts for seniors (65 and over) and students.
